Dublin, 2016 coffee ‘capital’

The anticipation grows day by day, waiting for the 2016 World Barista Championship (Dublin – June 22-25). In a month this will be held for the first time in Dublin.

The major international coffee competition, organised annually by World Coffee Events (WCE), will take place in conjunction with the “World of Coffee” an international event to meet all the major industry players.

Victoria Arduino, will add its enthusiasm and its technical organisation in support of the organisers and competitors. These fifty baristas, champions in their respective countries, will bring into play all their skills to win the title and succeed Australian Sasa Sestic, winner of the last edition.

As in 2015 in Seattle, the official competition coffee machine will be the VA388 Black Eagle, the innovative model from Victoria Arduino, rich in technology and style. Its high performance and ergonomic qualities have fascinated all major baristas around the world.
With its century long history, its values and its innovative body of knowledge in the field of espresso and cappuccino, Victoria Arduino not only plays its role as technical support to WBC Dublin, but also brings added value to the competition. Focusing on promoting excellence in coffee helps to improve the professionalism of baristas and increase the attention of coffee consumers.
